Delaney La Rosa

Dr Delaney La Rosa, EdD, MSN Ed, RN, is a nationally recognized educator and innovator whose work advances artificial intelligence across nursing, healthcare, and education. As a Teaching Professor at the Florida State University College of Nursing, and founder of the AI Nurse Nexus, she leads efforts that connect emerging technologies with equitable care and real world workforce needs. With a career spanning clinical practice, the pharmaceutical industry, research administration at Yale University, healthcare entrepreneurship, and academic leadership at the Mayo Clinic and major universities, Dr La Rosa brings rare cross sector expertise to the future of nursing.

She has worked with artificial intelligence since 2014 through projects involving smart patient rooms, clinical translation tools, educational platforms, and early pre market model testing, including Open AI ChatGPT. Her scholarship and leadership within the Health Equity Influencers program promote responsible and inclusive AI adoption, while her roles with the Florida State University Nursing and AI Innovation Consortium and the AI Nurse Nexus expand access to artificial intelligence professional development for nurses and students.

As a Native American scholar and nurse, Dr La Rosa believes that technology should honor culture, preserve human connection, and elevate the science of nursing practice while advancing the profession.
