Jess Schnyders, RN, MSDS, serves as Interim Director at Large for the American Board of Nursing Artificial Intelligence (ABNAI). She is a Registered Nurse, data science professional, and healthcare innovation leader with expertise at the intersection of nursing, artificial intelligence, healthcare analytics, and emerging technologies.
Jess holds a Master of Science in Data Science and brings a unique combination of clinical nursing experience and advanced analytical expertise to the evolving field of healthcare AI. Her work focuses on translating complex healthcare data into actionable insights that support innovation, operational improvement, evidence based practice, and patient centered outcomes.
In addition to her leadership role with ABNAI, Jess serves as Chair of Data Science and Nursing Analytics for the Global Nursing AI Alliance (GNAA), where she supports initiatives focused on technology, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the advancement of nursing innovation on a global scale.
As Interim Director at Large, Jess contributes strategic insight to ABNAI’s national efforts to advance nursing AI education, competency frameworks, ethical AI implementation, and workforce readiness in the era of artificial intelligence.
